The Wide World of Trade website has been designed to complement the lessons from the curriculum package, Wide World of Trade. Each lesson has a corresponding activity on this website designed to reinforce the content taught in the Wide World of Trade lessons.

Another purpose of the website is to connect students and classrooms from coutries wherever the lessons are being taught in hopes of expanding students' understanding and knowledge about people in other countries and cultures. Some of the activities ask students to send their completed work to Mary suiter@umsl.edu or meszarob@lerner.udel.edu. In some cases these will be sent to other classroom teachers whose students are using the website to facilitate the exchange of information among students around the world.

The Teachers Page provides suggestions on how to use each web-based activity in the student section when teaching the Wide World of Trade lessons.

The Teacher Page also has evaluation forms for each activity. As activities are completed, please complete the corresponding evaluatuion. This input will be used to improve the site.
